Recently, the site was injected with a trojan that stuck itself to files named ‘index’, ‘main’ and so on. I removed them ASAP, then updated all possible running script and then informed the hosting company. Hopefully this will stop the problem.

This sort of opened my eyes, I wasn’t sure what caused the script to be injected in the first place. The only 3 things I can think of was either, WordPress, Coppermine or PhpBB.

I will be updating the site once I get my work done. I’ll either nuke and start from scratch again, but that will be a last resort.

But in other things, I’ve been offline for almost 4 days now.

My workstation went hot and had to get a power supply replace because some of the drives would just stop on me. So spent almost $500 getting that fixed.

Then after fixing the workstation. My personal PC broke down. The power supply fans stopped working cause it to generate a bunch of heat causing the video card overheat. Spent atleast $400 on trying to get that fixed.
