So, you might be wondering, “Whats the deal? Your site was empty.” Well the story is, my old hosting had a server crash. The crash totaled 2 of the RAID 5′s on their servers. Resulting in all information AND back-ups to be nuked. Sounds nasty? Well, it is.

But what pissed me off the most, well, I shouldn’t say ‘pissed off’. I’d like to say ‘disappointed’. I’ve been with the old hosting for a long time, almost 3-4 years and they provided good quality tech support and service. But, it all went down hill after it switched hands to a new management. Not only that, they had a pay hike recently on their plans, and part of the reason for that pay hike was for ‘daily backups’ and better ‘tech support’. Well, that didn’t help me much. Backups, was none existent and tech support had me waiting for days, rather then hours. The server crash killed my recent information, databases, modififactions AND backups (backups that I’ve paid extra for), that felt like I got riped off. So yeah.

Anyway, long story, short.

Old host crash and burned, lost my information and backups. I was disappointed with them, so I went to find a new hosting. And I did. The End. :)
